PROJECT INFORMATION
Coral Gables Fire House #4 involved the construction of a new approximately 10,323-square-foot, two-story fire station with a mezzanine level, developed to support modern emergency response operations while enhancing the surrounding community. The facility includes two apparatus bays, eight dormitories, required site and utility improvements, and was designed to achieve LEED Silver certification. The project also extended beyond the building itself with the inclusion of a neighborhood park on the northern portion of the site, reinforcing its role as both a public safety facility and a civic asset.
NEIGHBORHOOD PARK & COMMUNITY PLAY SPACE

A distinctive feature of the project is the integration of the neighborhood park, which adds a community-focused element to the overall development. This outdoor space includes playground-style features that help transform the site into more than a traditional fire station by creating an inviting area for nearby families and residents. This combination of emergency services infrastructure and accessible community space reflects a thoughtful approach to public design, where public safety, neighborhood presence, and everyday public use are brought together in one project.
