PROJECT INFORMATION
This comprehensive project consisted of the construction of three purpose-built structures to support the operations of the National Drugs Control Agency. The first building features a classroom for K9 training and three specialized rooms for drug and currency search simulations. The second structure is a kennel equipped with 24 individual enclosures to house the agency’s K9 units. The third building serves as barracks for agency personnel and includes sleeping quarters, a men’s bathroom, a full kitchen, and a dining area.
SITE PREP AND BLOCK CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT MISSION-READY FACILITY

Extensive site preparation, including grading and site work, was required prior to construction. Two separate drainage deposits were installed—one serving the kennel and the other for the barracks—connected to a shared drain field. All exterior walls were constructed with concrete block, and roofing was completed with wood trusses and standing seam metal. Lighting and electrical systems were installed underground for a clean and secure layout. Local labor was hired and trained by West to meet NAVFAC standards, reinforcing the project's commitment to both quality and community impact.
