PROJECT INFORMATION
Located in North Beach, Altos del Mar Park is a thoughtfully designed coastal destination catering to families, fitness enthusiasts, and beachgoers alike. Separated play zones for toddlers (ages 2–5) and older children (5–12) feature a shaded, ship-themed play structure with varied climbing and sliding elements safely cushioned by poured-in-place rubber surfacing. For adults and teens, urban outdoor fitness equipment offers a place to work out while enjoying the sea breeze. Two sandy volleyball courts make it easy to gather with friends or family for active fun.
BLENDING PLAYFUL ENERGY WITH OCEANFRONT EASE

Essential visitor amenities include accessible public restrooms, a water fountain, and metered public parking, enhancing comfort and convenience. The entire play area is securely fenced and sits adjacent to pedestrian beach access, effortlessly blending recreational time with coastal enjoyment. Altos del Mar Park delivers a well-balanced mix of play, fitness, and relaxation right by the ocean.
One of the more creative transformations involved enclosing the former drive-up teller area under the existing roof to create a new, flexible community room—offering an additional venue for events, workshops, and civic gatherings. This space also received a new roof, ensuring its longevity.
To complement the indoor improvements, the project introduced expanded restrooms, new landscaping, additional parking, and a fresh coat of exterior paint, rounding out the library’s comprehensive modernization.Together, these enhancements position the Lantana Public Library as a more accessible, inclusive, and inviting public asset for years to come.
