PROJECT INFORMATION
The project centered on expanding and modernizing the NODS facility through the addition of a new metal building connected to the existing structure. Once the addition was constructed, the roof of the new building was seamlessly integrated with the original structure, creating a unified facility. This allowed NODS personnel to immediately occupy and operate within the new space.
EXPANSION AND REMODEL ENHANCE FACILITY OPERATIONS

Following the expansion, the existing building underwent a complete interior remodel to enhance usability. As a final step, the exteriors of both existing buildings were repainted, providing a refreshed and cohesive appearance for the entire facility. The completed project supports greater operational capacity while improving aesthetics and efficiency.
Set on elevated soil pads at Base Flood Elevation +2’ NAVD, the new structure is built with long-term resilience in mind. Site improvements also include future playground areas, restored open green space, and a landscape plan that preserves mature canopy trees and relocates select palms within the park to maintain its established character.
With its sustainable design and thoughtful amenities, the Muss Park Pavilion enriches the park’s offerings while respecting the natural beauty and needs of the community.
One of the more creative transformations involved enclosing the former drive-up teller area under the existing roof to create a new, flexible community room—offering an additional venue for events, workshops, and civic gatherings. This space also received a new roof, ensuring its longevity.
To complement the indoor improvements, the project introduced expanded restrooms, new landscaping, additional parking, and a fresh coat of exterior paint, rounding out the library’s comprehensive modernization.Together, these enhancements position the Lantana Public Library as a more accessible, inclusive, and inviting public asset for years to come.
